Dr Helen McBreen
Dr Helen McBreen is a partner at Atlantic Bridge, a global deep tech investment firm, and the Founder of the Atlantic Bridge University Fund—Ireland’s largest and most active institutional deep tech seed fund platform. The fund has catalysed over €1.3 billion in investment into early-stage companies, backed 20 healthcare companies, and brought five FDA-approved products to market. Helen is an accomplished venture capital investor and her expertise spans seed-stage investing, IP commercialization, international M&A, and institutional fundraising. She serves on multiple boards in healthcare and deep tech. A Kauffman Fellow, former VP of Tech Tour Europe, and a committed advocate for women in technology and venture capital, Helen has been recognized among the Top 100 Women in STEM. She holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh and a first-class honours degree from University College Dublin.
